Popular Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu is remembering the essence of the Lohri in his life today, as Punjabi communities across the world is preparing for the evening celebrations.

Garry Sandhu took to his official Instagram handle to pen down a heartfelt note remembering his previous Lohris as he lost his father two years ago on the same day. He wrote: “Lohdi waley din main pehli waar india chdya si te lohdi waley din main uk to india aya te lohdi waley din mera dad sanu chad giya si 2 saal pehla ... miss u dad ..”

Punjabi celebs reacted to his post to send him their wishes. Jazzy B, Ammy Virk and Ravneet Singh commented on his post with “Wahe Guru ji”, assuring their wishes and prayers.

 

The singer has recently lost his mother, who was very close to his heart and is therefore emotional as celebrations for the festival have begun.
