‘Rishi Kapoor Is Cancer-Free’, Reveals Filmmaker Rahul Rawail

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor left his worldwide fans in suspense after he flew to New York with his wife Neetu Singh for a medical treatment for an undisclosed illness. Rishi, who is an avid social media user, informed his fans through a tweet that he is taking a break and said that he will be back soon.

"Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It's been 45 years 'plus' of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon," The 66-year-old actor tweeted in September 2018.

While undergoing medical treatment, Rishi kept on sharing his pictures from USA, but he never disclosed about the illness he is going through.

Recently, filmmaker Rahul Rawail took to his Facebook handle to drop a hint his ailment.

The filmmaker shared a picture with Rishi Kapoor and wrote, ''RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE!!!!”.

Rahul Rawail’s this Facebook post has brought some cheer for Rishi Kapoor’s fans.

The 66-year-old actor was last seen on silver screen in a cameo in "Manto", directorial venture of noted actor Nandita Das.
