Several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to make contributions to the PM-CARES Fund and other Chief Minister's Relief Funds to help better the lives of those affected by the novel coronavirus. Shah Rukh Khan takes it a step forward.

Taking to Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan announced that all of his business centres - Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX - will support the government with monetary contributions.

In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family. https://t.co/LWz4wQGaPe

Earlier, actors like Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aaryan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and several others have come forward to contribute towards the needy, even as the number of people affected by the novel coronavirus keeps rising.
