Shreya Ghoshal is all praises for her 'Bachpan Ka Dost' -Parag Agarwal Twitter's CEO

The appointment of Parag Agrawal as Twitter's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has once again highlighted the fact that many prominent global technology companies are led by Indian-origin executives.

Congratulations have been pouring in from all over the country for Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal. Shreya Ghoshal, Bollywood singer as well as a very close friend of Parag, took to Twitter and said, "Congrats

To the ones who are unaware, Shreya Ghoshal and Parag Agarwal are good old friends.

Shreya Ghoshal tweeted in 2010 it was actually a day before Parag's birthday, and Shreya Ghoshal was talking about congratulating him. Parag also posted a photo with Shreya Ghoshal.

In earlier posts by Shreya, she also mentioned Parag as her ‘Bachpan Ka dost’ which clearly indicates who close their friendship.

Not only with Shreya but Twitter’s CEO Parag is also close to Shreya's husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya.

On Monday, Parag took over as CEO of Twitter after co-founder Jack Dorsey stepped down from the helm of the San Francisco-based microblogging platform.

Parag is an alumnus of IIT-Bombay and Stanford University. Before joining Twitter in 2011, he had worked in Microsoft, Yahoo, and AT&T labs.

Similarly, Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently praised Indian talent after Twitter's new CEO, Parag Agrawal, replaced Jack Dorsey.

Following Jack Dorsey's unexpected resignation, the 37-year-old computer scientist with a Ph.D. from Stanford will take over as CEO of the microblogging site immediately.
