Sikh members of the Sikh Motorcycle Club Canada, who travelled from Canada to Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar to mark the 550th birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, donated USD 100,000 to charity organization Khalsa Aid.
Khalsa Aid International will utilize these funds to help people all over the world suffering from natural disasters.
The donation came after six Sikh members – Sardar Prajeet Singh, Sardar Mandeep Singh, Sardar Sukhvir Singh, Sardar Azdawindra Singh and Sardar Jasmit Pal Singh – travelled from Canada to India with an aim to spread Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message of humanism.
