Sirjanhaari Episode 2: Rupinder Kaur Sandhu Will Be Next Guest. Here’s Her Inspiring Story
PTC Punjabi’s new show ‘Sirjanhaari’ received such a massive response on its opening day. ‘Sirjanhaari’ was aired on September 9.
“Sirjanhaari - Samman Naari Da” is all about showcasing inspiring tales of women who battled odds to change the world around them.
Besides honouring them, PTC Punjabi in association with Nanhi Chhan Punjab will also give them ‘Sirjanhaari Awards 2018' for their achievements.

Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi, senior executive of a leading newspaper of Punjab and a leading social activist Gurjot Kaur and Rajni Bector, founder of a well-known brand Cremicafoods, are among the jury members on the show.

Episode 1 – September 9
Navjot Kaur Chhaba was the first guest on the show. Navjot is a professional lawyer and during her entire career of 20 years she tried to fight cases without charging a penny. She fought cases on civil, family matters and others.
Navjot Kaur Chhaba is popularly known for providing justice to two Pakistani sisters, Fatima and Mumtaz, who were arrested from Attari railway station in 2006 for carrying drugs.
Fatima, who was pregnant then, gave birth to Heena while in jail the same year. Navjot Kaur Chhaba fought a legal battle on their behalf.
Episode 2- September 15
Rupinder Kaur Sandhu will be the second guest on the show. President of CGS Society, her aim is to provide help to those who are the most vulnerable (poor, old and sick, women, children) and are in dire need of help. Watch 'Sirjanhaari' Episode 2 to know more about her.
Overall 35 participants from across India, including Punjab, Mumbai, Bangaluru, Jaipur and Uttarakhand among others would be participating in one of its kind show.
The show, which airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 8 PM, is hosted by Divya Dutta.
