As Mumbai gears up to celebrate the biggest festival of the city, Ganesh Chaturthi, actor Sonu Sood comes out to help people to reach back to their homes.

Known for his noble work of sending migrants home during the ongoing global pandemic, as India was in lockdown and migrant workers couldn’t reach back to their homes. Now, on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the 'Happy New Year' actor sends 300 migrants to their homes in remote areas of Maharashtra.

Today’s HELP messages. On an average these are the number of requests I get for HELP. It is not humanly possible to reach out to everyone. I still try my best. Apologies if I missed your message?

In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Sood said, "Recently, some migrant workers who live in Lalbaug and behind the Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi reached out to me with a plea. I organised buses for them with all the necessary permissions. The first batch of around 300 left five and another batch will leave soon."
