Sonu Sood is also trying his luck as a Producer and he’s reportedly producing a film based on ace Shuttler P.V Sindhu. Talking about the status of the biopic, Sonu said: "The script of that film is almost ready. Some actors whom I approached have heard the script and they liked it. Hopefully, we will announce the name of the actress who is going to play the role of Sindhu in our film by this month itself. I am pretty excited to start the movie and early next year, we will start the shooting of the film."

Film ‘Paltan’ has been in news recently as Abhishek Bachchan who was initially roped in to play a crucial role in the film, dropped out of the project at the last minute which left everyone stunned.

Like the rest of his war movies, J.P. Dutta's 'Paltan' will have a huge star cast wherein Suniel Shetty, Sonu Sood, Pulkit Samrat, Siddhanth Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Gurmeet Choudhary will be seen in pivotal roles.
