After almost eight months of lockdown, which seems to look like an eternity, the world is slowly reopening. After facing a huge loss in the theatre industry, cinema owners are now opening movie halls.

The Maharashtra government has finally allowed the theatres to be reopened from today.

According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, the theatres will open to 50 percent occupancy and no outside eatables will be allowed in cinema halls.

One of the first films that will be released on the big screen is ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’. The makers had released the trailer but never let out their release date as they were waiting for theatres to reopen.
