The trailer of Anupam Kher’s much awaited film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ has been released on YouTube by the makers on December 27. Anupam Kher’s ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ is based on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

While Anupam Kher portrays the character of India’s ex-PM Manmohan Singh in the film, Akshaye Khanna is playing the role of author Sanjay Baru, who served as the media advisor of Manmohan Singh from 2004 to 2008.

Undeniably, after watching the trailer, it appears to be one of the most promising films of not only Anupam Kher but Akshaye Khanna’s filmy career as well.

Anupam Kher took to his official Twitter handle to share the trailer of his film and captioned it as: “Ladies and Gentlemen!! Presenting the trailer of our highly anticipated film #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.”

Earlier, Anupam shared a video to announce that the last shot of the film was taken at 2.40 a.m. on October 27.

The film is directed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte.
