The UAE’s only Sikh temple ‘Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara located in Dubai’s Jebel Ali has been hosting an interfaith iftar at the time of Ramadan for six years. However, this year it was decided that the Gurudwara will host daily iftar for the workers in the locality.

Chairman Surender Singh Kandhari told Gulf News, “There are a lot of Muslim workers in this area. There are not many places from where they can break their fast. We will invite these workers to have iftar from our Gurudwara.”
