Kannada Actors Kiccha Sudeep, Darshan to Campaign for BJP in Karnataka Elections
Reports of Sudeep announcing his political plans have led to speculation about whether he will contest as a BJP candidate in the elections or simply extend his support by campaigning for the party. Sources close to Sudeep have stated that there will be a meeting at the actor’s house to discuss with family members whether he would join the BJP and take a plunge into electoral politics or just campaign for the party.
It is being rumored that Kiccha Sudeep, a popular Kannada actor, may campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections. The actor is expected to reveal his political plans on April 5. Sudeep's conversation about politics durin earlier this year has resurfaced and is going viral again. During the interview, the Vikrant Rona actor made headlines for his meeting with Congress leader DK Shivakumar, but gave a cryptic reply when asked about it.

However, both Sudeep and Shivakumar's aides later clarified that it was a personal visit with no political motives.
With the latest reports, Sudeep and another popular Kannada actor, Darshan Thoogudeepa, are reportedly set to join the BJP ahead of the crucial assembly elections in Karnataka. They will join the party in the presence of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and other party leaders at a private hotel in Bengaluru.
