At the official State Visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's closing event, held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Centre in Washington, DC, renowned American actress and vocalist Mary Millben mesmerised the crowd. Millben respectfully approached Prime Minister Modi and touched his feet asking for his blessings after giving a mesmerising performance of Jana Gana Mana, the national anthem of India. The act of respect showed the singer's ardent respect for Indian culture and the Prime Minister's powerful spiritual aura.

In a statement prior to the performance, Millben said, "Having performed the American national anthem and patriotic music for four consecutive US presidents, I am deeply honored to perform the Indian national anthem for Prime Minister Modi and in honor of the country and people I have come to call my family." She emphasized the shared values of democracy and freedom embodied by both the American and Indian anthems, highlighting the essence of the robust US-India relationship.

The invitation-only event was organized by the United States Indian Community Foundation (USICF), and it witnessed a gathering of esteemed guests from various backgrounds.
