Tribute To Surjit Bindrakhia: Son Gitaz Bindrakhia Re-Creates 2001 Hit Song ‘Yaar Bolda’
Gitaz Bindrakhia, son of late singer Surjit Bindrakhia, will be releasing the re-created version of his dad’s hit song ‘Tera Yaar Bolda’. The re-created version of the song will be released on February 10.
Gitaz Bindrakhia took to his official Instagram account to share a video of his version of ‘Yaar Bolda’. He captioned the video as: “LOVE YOU MOM❤️DAD ?DATE NOTE KARLO 10 FEB✅?LOVE YOU DARLING?AGG BAHAUT EH?BHANGRE PEIN GE.”
The original version of the song was released in 2001. The song is still very popular among the bhangra lovers.
Bindrakhia, who breathed his last in 2003, was a versatile singer and is still remembered as a trendsetter in Punjabi folk singing. During his singing career, Bindrakhia sang over 250 songs.
Bindrakhia died in his sleep following a cardiac arrest. He was 42.
