Miss World 2023: On June 8, the Miss World Organization made a much-awaited announcement that India has been selected as the host country for the highly anticipated 71st Miss World 2023 pageant.

Miss World 2023: In a momentous announcement, Karolina Bielawska, the reigning Miss World, and Julia Morley, the chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, revealed that India has been chosen as the host country for the 71st Miss World competition. The news conference, held on June 8, 2023, in New Delhi, witnessed the attendance of Sini Shetty, the 2022 Femina Miss India World.

Julia Morley expressed her delight, saying, "I am delighted to announce India as the new home of the 71st Miss World Final! I have had a great affection for India from the first moment I visited this incredible country more than 30 years ago. We cannot wait to share your unique and diverse culture, world-class attractions, and breathtaking locations with the rest of the world."

India's rich cultural legacy, commitment to promoting diversity, and dedication to women's empowerment have been acknowledged as factors behind the decision to bestow this honor upon the country. It has been 27 years since India last hosted this prestigious international pageant, with the previous event taking place in 1996.

While the exact date and location of the highly anticipated pageant are yet to be determined, it is anticipated that the finale will tentatively be held in November or December 2023. Contestants from over 130 countries will gather in India to compete in a series of challenging events, including talent shows, sporting contests, and philanthropic endeavors. These activities are designed to highlight the outstanding qualities that make the participants exceptional ambassadors of change.
