Festivals are all about happiness, family get together, dance, lights and laughter. But the festival of ‘Lohri’ carries certain excitement with it which is quite typical to all the Punjabis. Bonfire post sunset, dancing to the groovy beats of dhol, flying kites, til (black sesame seeds), gajak, gur (jaggery), peanuts, popcorn and scrumptious feast, all that makes ‘Lohri’ much more than a regular festival.
