The movie, ‘Good Newwz’ was earlier titled ‘Good News’. Film’s producer Karan Johar brought the change of title to fans’ notice on Akshay Kumar’s 52nd birthday on September 9, by his tweet. Karan tweeted: “Happy birthday @akshaykumar we love you!!!! The GOOD NEWS is that our film #GOODNEWWZ will end the year with a bang!!!!
