Kesari’s song ‘Teri Mitti’ crooned by B Praak is a tribute to martyred soldiers. Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra, who was also a part of the movie, has given a soulful twist to the song with a female version after a month of its release.

The song is presented by Zee Music Company, with Manoj Muntashir’s lyrics and Arko’s music. Parineeti has vocalized a different version of the song from the hearts of all the women, whose husbands have died for the nation.

Parineeti Chopra took down to her official Instagram handle to share the glimpse of her song with a heartfelt thankyou note for everyone who has let her do this song.

I think the crux of who I am is my love for singing. NOTHING in the world centres me more, focuses me and makes me happy, than just plain singing. I sing all day. And when I am not singing out loud, I am humming in my head. It is my first love. My mom tells me I used to sing the ABC song when I was a year old! Anyway, you get it ❤️ Anyone who has heard me sing, has a piece of my soul ? my version of #TeriMitti. Thankyou Karan, Akshay sir, Anurag sir, Azeem, Arko, Aditya, Manoj and Arko for letting me do this. @karanjohar @akshaykumar @azeemdayani @anurag_singh_films

Parineeti Chopra played Akshay Kumar’s love interest in the movie. She had a very little role in it, but she is happy to be a part of ‘Kesari’.

You can listen to this soulful treat here.

Kesari has now entered Rs. 150 Crore club and it’s a unique way for the team to celebrate the success of it.
