As the novel coronavirus continues to claim lives around the world and makes us all sit in your homes for days ahead, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days.

While several Bollywood actors came ahead to support the decision, they have also started motivating their fans through social media. First, Ayushmann Khurrana penned poetry to spread awareness on the issue and now Varun Dhawan has took to his Instagram handle to share a rap song he composed.

He wrote: “#LOCKDOWN ?2️⃣1️⃣?? #vararaps

Stay indoors stay safe

Thank you @tanishk_bagchi

The video begins with an excerpt from PM Modi’s televised address to the nation in which he announced the 21-day lockdown. We then hear Varun's voice as he says, "You can't go to the parlour, you can't go to the streets, you can't go to the sabzi mandi,"
