WHAT BOLLYWOOD STARS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT SPOILERS

One single aspect that differentiates mystery from drama is a single turn of event on which film’s entire story line hinges. That’s why it is important for the filmmaker of a suspense thriller to protect the film’s storyline before its release. But even if the filmmaker tries its best to keep the story discreet, there’s nothing much he can do once the movie is released as the general viewers can easily reveal the plot on social media or through word of mouth.

Keeping all that in mind, Bollywood stars are urging the viewers to hold their horses and not to reveal the spoilers either on the Internet or by word of mouth. Filmmakers and star cast of Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna starrer ‘Ittefaq’ are taking to twitter raising awareness against spoilers.

I love social media but that doesn't make me a culprit! I WILL ALWAYS #SayNoToSpoilers!?#IttefaqThisFriday #IttefaqNov3 pic.twitter.com/jZ49NuH7yA

In a short video posted on Twitter Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna can be seen putting the message across with a touch of comedy. Not just that, the King of Bollywood and the producer of the film, Shahrukh Khan has urged viewers not to reveal spoilers through a video message.

Given the kind of creativity and hard work that it taking in Filmmaking, expecting their fans to stay mum about on the plot twists is the least these stars could expect.

Ittefaq, an upcoming 2017 Indian thriller film, directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions is inspired from the 1969 film by the same name that starred Rajes Khanna and was directed by Yash Chopra.
