‘When Comes To Acting, Ranveer Singh Is The Prime Minister’, Says Ammy Virk – WATCH

Punjabi superstar Ammy Virk heaped praises on his ‘83’ co-actor Ranveer Singh, saying ‘he is the Prime Minister in acting’. Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘83’ is based on India’s historic cricket World Cup win in 1983 under the leadership of living legend Kapil Dev.

In ‘83’, Ammy is playing the role of former cricket legend Balwinder Singh Sandhu and Ranver Singh is portraying the role of former Indian captain Kapil Dev.

Recently, Ammy appeared on PTC Punjabi’s most loved show PTC Showcase to promote his upcoming Punjabi film Muklawa which also features Sonam Bajwa in the lead. During the chit-chat, show anchor asked Ammy to share his experience of meeting Ranveer Singh for the first time on the sets of 83.

Ammy replied: “He is the most energetic person on the sets. He is the most positive person I’ve ever met in my life so far.”

“When comes to acting, Ranveer Singh is the Prime Minister and I am Chief Minister,” Ammy added with a smile.

On the work front, Ammy will next be seen in ‘Muklawa’. Directed by Simerjit Singh, the movie is based on the tradition, where the bride has to stay back to her village after the wedding.

Set in the backdrop of Punjab of 1960s, the movie will be released on May 24.
