Sonu Sood birthday special: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who is now popularly known as 'messiah', is celebrating his birthday on Saturday. His fans and admirers have been wishing him good health and prosperity in his life.

From playing villainy in the film industry to turning out as a 'messiah' during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially during the lockdowns, Sonu Sood cemented his name in the hearts of many.

They say, there are still 'angels on earth' and Sonu Sood is probably the one. Prior to his services during the lockdown, he was known as one of the hottest actors in Bollywood.

Did you know? Sonu Sood's father was a simple clothes shopkeeper. His father sent him to Nagpur to study engineering but after completing his education, he arrived in Mumbai in 1996 to pursue the film industry.

While he was struggling, he had his wife, Sonali, along with him, with whom he got married in 1996. After struggling for 3 years in Mumbai, Sonu Sood got a breakthrough with Telugu movie 'Kallajagaar', and after next 3 years, he got his first Bollywood movie, 'Shaheed-e-Azam'.

One of his biggest breakthough was 2004's 'Yuva', and 2010's 'Dabangg'. After that, he never looked back and cemented his existence as one of the great villains of Indian cinema.

Besides, he also did a movie with one of the most legendary actors in the world, none other than, Jackie Chan.
