Engaged in the bustling hours of promoting the film across various cities, Janhvi Kapoor has now reached the city of Chennai to seek blessing at her mom's favorite place, Muppathanam temple, just ahead of the film's awaited premiere. The actress was accompanied by her cousin Maheshwari Ayyappan for the temple visit. On Monday morning, 27th May 2024, Miss Kapoor took over her official Instagram handle to share the enthralling pictures, shot just outside of the temple doorway. While sharing the two sets of pics on her Gram, she wrote, "Visited Muppathanam temple for the first time, mummas most favourite place to visit in Chennai," added two red heart emojis.
Talking about the actress's ensemble. Janhvi Kapoor could be seen donning a riveting floral sari lehenga radiating the traditional glam like always. Honoring her mother's cherished traditions, she was accompanied by her cousin who wore a pink floral kurta along with a white lace palazo.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is an upcoming Hindi sports drama featuring Jahnvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. Backed by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, the film promises you to take through an enigmatic journey of married husband and wife, and the couple's journey of fulfilling one's dream and passion of becoming a cricketer. Meanwhile, it is going to be released theatrically on 31st May 2024.
