Alia Bhatt praises Kriti Sanon after sharing the Best Actress Award; Says, "I messaged her right after watching Mimi before winning any award"
Bollywood actresses, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon both glazed this year's National Film Awards by winning Best actress category for the 2021 acing films, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi. Both of their performances were well received by the global critics and made them possible to add their names under the list of National Award winners. Both of the actresses paved their attendance into the mega event held in Delhi on 17 October, 2023, which also bought other stars like Allu Arjun, Karan Johar and many others who made it into the winning catalogue.

After winning the celebratory victory rose by both the actresses, Alia Bhatt was asked regarding the same during the dinner extravaganza. While asked about Kriti Sanon's contribution in Mimi, Alia could be seen all smiles and praised while saying, "I have messaged Kriti right after watching Mimi even before she won any award. I just messaged her because I thought she hit such genuine notes, not being a mother, emoting and expressing all those emotions with such nuance and such sensitivity. I thought it was really really commendable."

Meanwhile, both the starry actresses shared their momentous joy from the event on each other's social media handle and both were seen congratulating too. The Mimi lead took her Instagram stories to appreciate Alia Bhatt and actor Allu Arjun. The smiling moments captivated their prowess wherein Kriti quoted for Allu and said, "It was a pleasure to share this very special moment with you @alluarjunonline!! Iโve always admired you as an actor, and now for the amazingly warm and profound person you are! May we meet at the same place again! (And of course get to work together super soon!)." For Alia Bhatt on the other hand, she wrote, "Aliaaaaaa! @aliaabhatt Our smiles say it all! Will remember our moment we shared just before getting on stage. P.S. Ranbir did click a cute pic haan!"
Alia Bhatt also responded to Miss Sanon's story and reposted while saying, "congratulations mimi.. yesterday was so much more special cause of the moment we shared.. lots of love neighbor.. meet soon so Ranbir can take more pictures of us haha." Speaking of Gangubai Kathiawadi actresse post, she shared another caraousal set of pictures with a caption that said, "A photo, a moment, a memory for life" with a while heart emoji.
