Babil Khan pens down a heart wrenching note dedicated to Irrfan Khan; "I will find you again. Somewhere. Beyond..."
Babil Khan is one of the best known rising star in Bollywood, who is also the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, who was known globally. Babil has made his filmy debut in 2023 through Netflix psychological drama 'Qala' and received huge applauds from all over the global OTT goers. Later on, he aced his acting prowess through OTT projects like 'Friday Night Plan' and 'The Railway Men' and both has accssed him an impeccable fame. Well, it is no wrong that it was his father who has inherited his own love for cinema to Babil but left his starry life soon, even before he could see his son getting his television brekthrough, which is often times shared by Babil himself, the tragedy of loosing him!
On Friday evening, Babil Khan has shared an Instagram post dedicated to his father, his sorrows and the regret of not being able to dance with him for the one last time. The Qala actor penned down a heartbreaking note below the post which has amassed a huge response from his filmy fanatics. Speaking of the picture, it featured both the father-son-duo engrossed in fishing in middle of a lake. Dressed warmly, the rays looked perfect in the cold winds of the lake surroundings. Giving a tribute sorts to Irrfan, Babil started off, "Nobody knew him like I did, nobody has known me like he did."
Through the caption, the emotiones were evoked as he shared his sadness with the masses. He openly told what hurts the most! "It’s easy to say, to miss him, it's easy. It's easy to be cathartic and cry about losing him. It's easy. Do you know what is hard? To remember the ecstasy in his voice when he would raise it in exaltation to scream "BABILUUUU!!!" he quoted. Continuing further, he reminished little things from the past, like Irrfan's deep voice and his beards and wrote, "It is impossible to bear the memory of how his beard felt on my fingers when I would scratch his cheek as he read his script or how my finger tips would rest gently on his eye lids when he took a nap. His voice, was brilliantly deep, yet it evoked nothing but a gentle prayer from me, a prayer that could only rise from one’s within when an external force has calmed your existential jitters to stillness."
It is ofcourse painful to loose someone, specially a close one, a family and Babil's pain could be clearly seen his shared post. As per Babil, he regrets one things which is, "I wish I could have one last dance with you," he said. In the below statement, he thanked his father while saying, "And to tell you, that without your lessons, I never would have survived" and promised Irrfan to find him some other time, in some other world, "I will look for you. I will find you again. Somewhere. Beyond," Babil ends.
