Bhaiyya Ji actor Manoj Bajpayee talks about his lowkey lifestyle: Here's why he drives a cheap car?
Actor Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most accomplished stars of the current film industry as his unconventional roles and characters are capable of leaving an impeccable mark on the viewers. The Family Man fame is currently basking high on his upcoming film Bhaiyaa Ji, making buzz around the entertainment realm while promoting the same, which is all set to release theatrically on 24th May 2024. Recently during an interview, the renowned actor could be seen emphasizing on living a subtle 'upper-middle-class' life.
While speaking to a renown media forum, the Bhaiya Ji fame highlighted about human ambition and it's relentless dependency on wealth. However he values the importance of knowing the gap between greed and inner peace, thus he commits to the latter of living a modest lifestyle. While talking about his choice of lifestyle, he accepted that how even being a mainstream actor in the industry he can't aspire to lead an extremely wealthy life because he knows that there is no end to it. However, one should be financially sound enough so that he doesn't have to rely on others for financial dependency.
Giving support to his self-financing ideology, he said, "You need to have enough money for medical expenses and for your children’s education. You need to be able to life a comfortable, dignified life where you don’t have to borrow money from anybody. That’s it. Otherwise, there’s no limit. The limit is Ambani. There are lots of rich people in the world, and I cannot become like them through acting. You have to set your own limits and rein in your greed."
proceeding further, Bajpayee stressed for prioritizing on the work itself rather than relying solely for monetary gain. He in fact opened up about his desire to stick with the upper middle-class lifestyle as he prefers driving a small car even though having the access to both small and large vehicles. "We live a middle-class life. And we are proud of it. But here’s what happens, when you make a name for yourself, luxuries follow. I don’t have to ask for them. But at the end of the day, we prefer our upper-middle-class life because that’s where the peace lies. You have to choose between greed and peace, and we choose peace… I have a big car and a cheap, small car. I prefer driving the small car whenever we’re going out together or I’m going to buy groceries," he continued.
Meanwhile, directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, Manoj Bajpayee's upcoming action drama 'Bhaiyya Ji' is all set to release theatrically on 24th May 2024.
