Bigg Boss 8 Alum and Expectant Mother Priya Malik Opens Up about Heartbreaking Miscarriage: 'That was a Difficult Phase'
Bigg Boss, the cult Indian television reality show is known for it's iconic seasons and it's most memorable contestants. This year BB has completed it's 17th season amd as usual we all are in awe in it's evergreen enthralling sequences. Although it has come a long way now, if you are a true Bigg Boss goer you must remember Priya Malik, the most prolific NRI contestant who came in as a wild card entry during the then season 8. Now famous as a writer, storyteller and a stage performer, Priya is all set to embrace her new phase of motherhood and welcome her first baby in April 2024.
During a recent interview with a renown media forum, the artist gave her enlightened views on her feelings of embracing motherhood for the first time, and continued while revealing about miscarriage during her first time pregnancy phase. Priya who is married to Karan Bakshi, is on her way to welcome her newest family member and seems quite joyous for the same. During the talking session, she proceeded revealing about her hard phase while she she was dealing with misccariage with her first baby last year. As per Priya, she got pegnant unplanned in 2023 and suffered a devastating loss.
As of now, even the soon-to-be born baby was unplanned sorts as she was eventually deciding to freeze her eggs but felt enthralling after conceiving the baby naturally. However Malik was anxious with her second pregnancy as she has lost a blooming baby just a while ago. The scars were yet fresh! In the interview, she called the miscarriage as a hard phase, said, "People talk about pregnancy, but not miscarriage. That was a difficult phase. I remember how after I got pregnant again, every ultrasound would feel like an exam that you are scared that you may fail. You don’t know when to celebrate with everyone. You don’t know whether to feel anxious, excited, or nervous, but gradually, you do learn to trust your body."
While asked about her feelings on becoming a mother, she said that she would become a protective mother but yet clingy. "When I love, I love completely. I immerse myself. But I'll always be supportive," Priya gasped.
Speaking of Priya Malik's love life, after getting separated from her previous marriage in 2018, she set on a new journey with Karan Bakshi, a Delhi based entrepreneur on 10th October, 2022 through an intimate marriage in a Gurudwara.
