Cannes 2024: Shark Tank India fame Namita Thapar makes her Cannes debut
Cannes is one of the most sought-after film festivals globally which is held annually at Cannes City, France giving every upcoming film from every nook and corners a platform to be premiered including documentaries. This year too, the French Riviera has come back with the year's most anticipated film festival as it kickstarted yesterday, 15th May 2024, which will run until 25th May 2024. Speaking in a nutshell, Cannes is a global film festival that ropes off films and documentaries from all around the world and recognizes the most deserving ones. Numerous celebrities are invited from actors to business tycoons and from social media stars to politicians is forever long.

On the first day of its festivity, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Deepti Sadhwani has already walked the red carpet with sheer grace and now Shark Tank India judge, Namita Thapar made her starry debut at the french riviera on the second day.ย
The 47-year-old Indian entrepreneur, business executive, angel investor, and the Head Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar attended the premiere of Furiosa A t Mad Max Saga starring Chris Hemsworth on the 2nd day of the Cannes Film Festival. On Wednesday, the Shark Tank judge shared a series of pictures featuring her iconic debut at the festival where she could seen bringing her best fashion foot forward. For the unversed, Namita wore a breathtaking blue sleeveless gown designed by Lebanese fashion designer Elio Abou Fayssal. The gown featured a thigh-high slit, voluminous sleeves, and a long train that gave the needed glamour at Cannes.ย
Just before walking the red carpet, Thapar could be seen sharing her feelings with a renowned media forum. When asked how it feel to be at Cannes 2024, she said, "Wonderful! Look at the vibe, there is fashion, there is movies, there is music. It is just brilliant being here, enjoying it." Moving on further, she spoke about her ensemble and said, "I love the colour because it is so different. It is a colour that I have never worn before. I just hope that I can manage this long train, but I am having fun. I pray I don't trip over it on the red carpet."
Recently it was confirmed that actresses like Kiara Advani and Sobhita Dhulipala will be making their first Cannes debut this year which has in fact left people ignited with immense anticipation and excitement. Apart from that, the mother of Cannes, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has recently left Mumbai for the Fench Riviera as she has been attending the film festival for the longest of times now. The long list of celebrities also includes Aditi Rao Hydari. Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela is still at Cannes.ย
