Diwali 2023: Vaani Kapoor gets Nostalgic Says 'I am already missing my family and friends terribly'
Vaani Kapoor, who always enjoyed dressing up and celebrating Diwali at home is facing a different scenario this year. Usually celebrating the festival in Delhi with her parents or with friends in Mumbai, Vaani is away due to work commitments, shooting for an upcoming film in London.
Expressing her feelings, Vaani shared, "I will be spending Diwali in London this year! Every year, I really look forward to celebrating it in Delhi with my family, participating in the puja, lighting diyas with my folks, and savoring homemade delicacies."
Vaani values the warmth and love that come with spending quality time during the festive season. Despite being away from home, she plans to celebrate Diwali in spirit. "Whenever I have celebrated the festival in Mumbai, my friends have always made it special for me. However, this year I am away from the cheerful festive spirit of home, and I am already missing my family and friends terribly," she added.
Acknowledging the work commitments that keep her away, Vaani plans to celebrate Diwali with the cast and crew of her upcoming film in London. She intends to treat herself to some traditional Indian food and immerse herself in the festive atmosphere.
On the professional front, Vaani Kapoor is set to headline two distinct projects - Maddock Films' "Sarvagunn Sampanna" and Yash Raj Films' OTT show, "Mandala Murders," a gritty crime thriller showcasing her impressive acting skills. Despite the distance, Vaani remains committed to her craft, bringing her talent to diverse roles.
