Filmmaker Anees Bazmee's Unexpected Exit from Nawazuddin Siddiqui's 'Section 108', Here's Why
Nawazuddin Siddique is one of the best actor in the filmy front of Indian cinema. last contributed his spilling magic of acting in the crime drama 'Haddi' is surely one of the highly accessed actor the realm of Indian entertainment industry has ever gotten. A gem indeed! It was during August, 2023, when news surfaced around the corners of the filmy biz that filmmaker Anees Bazmee has come on board along with actor Nawazuddin Siddique to bring an ensemble of thriller drama titled 'Section 108'. Not just that, the makers also bought a peekaboo teaser that featured it's lady lead Regina Cassandra bringing a scam case to a lawyer, who is played by Nawazuddin Siddique.
Presenter Anees Bazmee backs off from 'Section 108'
The thrilling teaser also revealed that Anees Bazmi came on board as the film's presenter. However, presenter is no longer associated with the movie now. Yes, you heard it right! The shocking news came into light recently and it has shattered the filmy world. As per the reports, Anees Bazmee has backed out from the movie by his own will. The man who is known for some amazing masterclass comedy movies such as No Entry, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, was going to a make his comeback into the thriller world after a whopping gap of 21 years after directing the psychological thriller 'Deewangee' that featured Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar and Akshaye Khanna.
As of now, the reason for his backing off from the mega thriller is yet under curtains but sources believe that he has discussed his unwillingness with the producers and decided to part his ways following the discussion.
About 'Section 108'
'Section 108' is helmed by one of the talented directors Rasikh Khan, known for spinning great stories and films. Produced by the dynamic combo of CinemaWala Ventures and Three Arrows production, and presented by one of the famed and most thoughtful directors Aneez Bazmee, this movie promises to be an entertainment package like no other. Considering the title of the film, we might just be in for a gripping storyline involving suspense, drama, and maybe even a twist or too related to this very concept from the law books which was misused somehow. Meanwhile, the movie will star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra in the leading roles along with Aasif Khan, Rumi Khan, Saanand Verma, Alisshaa Ohri & Saharsh Kumar Shukla contributing some pivotal characters in the creation.
