Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Surpasses Rs. 400 Crore Overseas; Atlee's Film Nears End of Box Office Journey

Atlee's directorial 'Jawan' so far had been the most widely accepted movie of the year. Yearning records one after another, the film is surpassing boundaries of earlier records set by the mega Bollywood ensembles. As the movie has received it's theatrical release on September 7, 2023, people nearly went gaga on the creative, captivating power of the creators as well as by the stellar casts. Recently, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie has completed it's 50 days in the theatrical windows and currently basking under it's last box office run.

The whopping box office collection of Jawan internationally!

Meanwhile, the Atlee creation has entered a whopping overseas collection commercially and as per the official reports, by far 'Jawan' has earned $ 48.25 million i.e. Rs. 401 crore respectively crossing it's benchmarks of Rs.400 crore. As the movie is running around it's last theatrical days, it is expected to collect $48.50 million by it's. Interestingly, if it goes as expected, Jawan will garner a little less than 'Pathaan' that has made around $48.90 released previously. 

While combining it's international counts with the Indian revenue, that is Rs.401 crore overseas and Rs.760 crore in India, the total collection equals to Rs.1161 crore overall(globally). 

2023 is SRK's year!

As it is SRK's second movie of the year to see such an intriguing success, after Pathaan released in January, the star is serving his fans with surreal whoops. With it's emerging success, Shah Rukh is undoubtedly living his historic box office life, Pathaan which was followed by Jawan has yet another anticipated upcoming movie Dunki which is highly expected to break the benchmarks once again. Speaking of Dunki, it will be SRK's first ever collaboration with iconic Rajkumar Hirani which is slatted to get release in Christmas, 2023.

About 'Jawan'

Released on 7 September, 2023, Jawan has bought a whole new wave of cinematic excellence. The film is directed by ace filmmaker Atlee starring Shah Rukh Khan along with South superstars, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara including other pivotal actors such as Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Sunil Grover and others. The film also possesses Deepika Padukone in a special cameo role which added more emotion to the movie's fantastic plot.
