Here's why Parineeti Chopra backed off from Rashmika Mandanna's role in the movie Animal?

Ever since the announcement of Ranbir Kapoor starrer movie 'Animal', it started serving whopping excitement among the Bollywood fanatics. Speaking in a nutshell, 'Animal' is one of the most anticipated movie of the year. As the movie is all set to be released on 1st December 2023, people are eagerly excited to delve into the world of crime, intense drama and action helmed by the Bollywood's one of the acing director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Just ahead of it's release, it was revealed that earlier it was Parineeti Chopra who was roped off for the female lead in the upcoming movie, but she backed off! Continue reading to know why?

The reason behind Parineeti Chopra's backing off from 'Animal' 

The announcement of installing 'Animal' was done back in 2021 wherein it was Parineeti Chopra, whose name was attached to the filmy catalogue. Yes, you heard it correct! For the portrayal of Geetanjali Singh's character in the movie, Mrs. Chadha was chosen instead of Rashmika Mandanna but eventually she has backed off from Vanga's mega creation. As per the reports, it was during those moments when Pari was leading tight schedules while doing Imtiaz Ali's 'Amar Singh Chamkila' alongside Diljit Dosanjh. "She has to get into prep immediately for the shoot(for Chamkila), and unfortunately due to this development, she won’t be able to shoot for Animal as there is a major overlap of dates between the two films," a source revealed indecisively.

However this is not the only that is igniting the answers for her to back off. Some of the rumors also suggests that her test performances did not satisfy the 'Animal' makers, including Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It was after the maker's rigid longingness of a much actress led them to rope off Rashmika Mandanna. Earlier during an interview, Pari stated, "These things happen, it is part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you."

Animal is an upcoming action packed thriller written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced under the banners of T-Series and Cine1 Studios. Apart from Brahmashtra fame Ranbir Kapoor, the movie will be made with a boggling budget of Rs. 100 crore which will also star industry fames such as Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, Saurabh Sachdeva and Tripti Dimri. The enthralling looking movie has been released today, on 1st December 2023.
