Wednesday evening was a whopping celebration for all the Indians as Indian Cricket Team has beaten New Zealand in the World Cup semi-finals. The most awaited semi-final match took place yesterday between the accolading teams on the prestigious Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai. The win of the most anticipated match was the nation's success more than the blue team alone. The whole country celebrated the historical moment along with the biggest names of the country. The Indian celebrities have taken over their socials to wish the Team India and still continuing. Recently, the Gangubai Kathiwadi actress Alia Bhatt has added her names in the long list of Bollywood dignitaries and congratulated the oozing team.

Mrs. Kapoor has shared a post made by Indian Cricket Team and penned her elation out. Alia in her Instagram story writes, "Congratulations Team India!!!! what a powerful all-round performance On to the finals. #CWC23." Continuing it further, Alia Bhatt heaped praises for Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami. "@virat.kohli You are unstoppable!! @mdshami.11 pure magic," she quoted!

speaking off her work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Hindi romantic drama 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' under the directorial of Karan Johar. The Bollywood actress also took her wings internationally this year as she was featured in the Netflix movie 'Heart of Stone' alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
