Is Ameesha Patel an another homophobic actress from Bollywood? Why same sex love bothers the Gadar lady?

Complementing her audience's urge she sported her homophobic statement and said "Then comes a film like Gadar which goes back to old roots, traditional values, good music and family bonding. And that is what Hindusthan wants to see".

Is Ameesha Patel an another homophobic actress from Bollywood? Why same sex love bothers the Gadar lady?

With the raising fame and flame of Gadar 2, leads Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are gripping the headlines with each ladder worthy acclamations. While Actress Ameesha Patel is grasping the massive success of Gadar sequel, the actress has come under limelight, although not under a good concern this time. Recently, the actress brought a lot of attention by her controversial statement made against the LGBTQ community. Previously, during an interview, Patel put light on the Dark side of OTT streaming platforms. Now, she has clarified her embarked statement and how her statement was intact towards the dark side of OTT platforms these days.

Homosexuality a danger?

During the attention worthy statement, Ameesha Patel clearly hinted the negatively influential impacts of OTT media on children. Pointing out to it's cons, "It is full of homosexuality content," she stated. She also nodded her concern towards the unclean media consumption on streaming platforms which forces to unleash parental locks and controls by the respective ones.

Ameesha's mocking statement

Meanwhile, during her latest interview with a renown journalists, Ameesha opened up further to explain the allegedly twisted statement but did not landed well on the eyes of the beholders. "I said the family audience is fed up of the OTT content that is only dark and they are afraid that they have no family films to show the youth. Everything in OTT that's working has been dark - drugs, alcohol, bad language, misusing and mocking sexuality," she quoted. Adding to this, "Making sexuality a joke shouldn't be okay because whatever partner you choose to be with is your choice. That's what they do, they make a mockery of anyone who chooses to be with anyone who is not from the opposite sex and that's not fair," she further added.

Complementing her audience's urge she sported her homophobic statement and said "Then comes a film like Gadar which goes back to old roots, traditional values, good music and family bonding. And that is what Hindusthan wants to see," which in turn is a pseudo statement in itself! Here what 'Hindhustan' wants is utterly problematic as audiences do not dance under a choice of supervisions.

Homophobia in Bollywood

Well, this is not the first time an Indian actress made blunt remarks on same sex preferences but previously Kangana Ranaut was often seen embarking on the issue of showcasing 'manly man' in the mainstream movies, which truly saddens their entire fanhood belonging to the umbrella category of sex.

As a fanboy myself, it feels even a part of a privileged section of the society lacks understanding of a community that has suffered insanely and requires serious recognition as the OTT streamers are practicing so. There's nothing wrong a viewer complains unless such influential figures puts demeaning lights on.
