Priyanka Chopra congratulates Vir Das's victory at the International Emmy Awards 2023 with a special hand-written note

Recently the International Emmy Awards 2023 took place with sheer glitter and glamour. Many global fames hailing from the entertainment industry shone outshone their performances and took home the brightest of trophies of accolading titles. Well, Indian stars glazed their remarkable foots in the prestigious award too. One among the all, actor-comedian Vir Das shone starry win too. He has won the award for Best Comedy for his Netflix special 'Vir Das: Landing' to be precise. As the news flocked around the internet, many celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan has taken their time out to congratulate the big win post shared by Vir das.

Meanwhile, Global star Priyanka Chopra took the congratulation knot a bit higher wherein she has sent a blooming bouquet of flowers along with a handwritten letter to the winner. On Thursday morning, Vir has taken over his Instagram and X handle to share the ravishing flowers along with the letter wherein he thanked PeeCee for the warm gesture. Sharing the images' he wrote, "Thank You @priyankachopra for the flowers, and every door you've opened for the rest of us. You're awesome @purplepebblepictures." Meanwhile, in the letter the actress has quoted, "Dear Vir, wishing you huge congratulations on your Emmy win! Such a well deserved and wonderful accomplishment! With love, Priyanka, Mary and your friends at Purple Pebble Pictures."

Vir das, on the other hand has won the Emmy's 2023 for his impeccable performance for his exclusive Netflix's stand up show 'Vir Das: Landing' that revolves around the feeling of being global while searching for a home. The official synopsis says, "Vir Das dives deep into his childhood in India, the perils of outrage and finding his feet in the world for his fourth Netflix stand-up special." Meanwhile after hailing the big win at the Emmy's, the actor-comedian was seen sharing his hearty elation wherein he wrote, "This award is not just a recognition of my work but a celebration of the diverse stories and voices from India. Stories that make us laugh, reflect, and, most importantly, unite. This one is for India, for Indian comedy and for the community of artists at large."
