Rashmika Mandanna, one of the most prominent and highest paid actresses of the South Indian movie industry has come a long way from her initial career days. Mostly known for her intrigiuing roles in Tamil, Telegu and Kannada movies also made her successful way out in Hindi movie industry too.
Rashmika's Early days
Rashmika was born in a Kodava family on April 5, 1996 at Virajpet, a town in Kodagu district of Karnataka. The young future-to-be actress has completed her schooling from Coorg Public School in Kodagu and opted Bangalore's M.S Ramiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce for persuing bachelors programme in Psychology, Journalism and English literature.
Initially, the actress made her acting debut in the movie industry from Kannada's 'Kirik Party' which turned out to be blockbuster hit of 2016. The great appraisal recieved by the new actress has paved her way with other great projects along her budding career which followed movies like 'Anjani Putra' and 'Chamak'. In 2018, she was starred in 'Geetha Govindam' alongside South's fame Vijay Deverakonda. In 2020, the movie, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' went on becoming another superhit highest grossing movie in Telegu industry. Other successful movies includes, 'Bheeshma' of the same year, 'Pogaru' in 2021 followed up by 'Sulthan' starring Karthi, Ramachandra Raju and Rashmika. 'Pushpa-The Rise' starring Rashmika opposite to Allu Arjun was a movie remained in the Box-office breaking list too. Eventually she also appeared in movies like 'Sita Raman' and 'Goodbye' and recently 'Varisu' was her second Tamil movie that came in 2023.
Rashmika Mandanna is a holder of many coveted achievements that includes 'SIIMA' Awards for 'Best Debut Actress'-Kannada for 'Kirik Party'.
