Indian OTT giant Netflix is all set to bring it's one of the most anticipated movie of the year. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, I am talking about the 'iconic' looking 'The Archies'. Starring some of the most newbie faces of the industry, the musical comedy drama is embroiling eager anticipation among the global fanatics. Among many others, Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi's youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor will be marking her filmy, while portraying a significant character of the starry starry movie.

As the makers, casts, and fandoms are all gearing up for the 'D-Day' to come, a special premiere was organized on Tuesday just ahead of it's release by the film's fraternity that was attended by some of the biggest names and the who's who of the industry such as Kajol, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Rekha, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh and many others. Meanwhile the attentions were all drawn towards it's leading actress Khushi Kapoor when she reached the carpet extravaganza by opting an enthralling gown of her late mother, Sridevi.

Yes, you heard it correct! Khushi Kapoor attended the big premiere night wearing a golden bejeweled gown that was once worn by her mother, Sridevi, 10 years ago to be precise at an award show. The beautiful nude gown dates back to 2013. Covered in shimmer and glam, the gown featured a strapless neckline that fitted Khushi's hour glass figure like a dream. With dewy makeup, the raising star opted a diamond statement necklace that elevated her overall look a notch higher. With Pink lips, stud earrings and hairs tied in a tight bun, Khushi Kapoor looked exquisitely ethereal. On Tuesday afternoon Khushi took over her gram's handle to share the set of pictures where she captioned, "The most special night with the most special pieces of you" along a white heart emoji.

Set in the classic fictional hill town of Riverdale, the movie will revolve around friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion ringing a modern take on the iconic comic series 'The Archies'. According to it's streaming platform Netflix, the movie is said to be full of youthful energy and enthusiasm revolving around the era of 1960's. "A musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and everything young adult,” a press release by Netflix stated.
