Tiger 3 Actress Ridhi Dogra Joins the Mission to Illuminate Lives During Diwali
The festive spirit of Diwali came alive in Macchimaar Nagar as actress Ridhi Dogra teamed up with the hunger-relief initiative 'Feeding From Far.' Together, they celebrated the festival of lights with the residents of the area, spreading warmth, joy, and the essence of togetherness to the underprivileged community.
The founder of 'Feeding From Far,' Paritosh Pant, and his dedicated team of volunteers, along with Ridhi Dogra, brought hope to those still grappling with the lingering repercussions of the pandemic. This campaign serves as a beacon of resilience, empowering individuals and families to break free from the clutches of poverty-induced hunger.
Ridhi and Paritosh distributed 500 ration kits, each valued at INR 700, containing essential items like rice, wheat, dal, salt, cooking oil, sugar, chilli powder, and turmeric powder. These kits are capable of supporting a family of five for an entire week.
Expressing her thoughts on the importance of kindness and hope in our daily lives, Ridhi stated, "It was an absolute honor to be part of the Diwali celebration with 'Feeding From Far.' I truly believe that the real work in this world is towards each other, towards the community, or just as much as we can do is also enough. That is the thing that truly matters!"
Paritosh Pant, the founder of 'Feeding From Far,' spoke about the significance of Diwali as a festival of hope and togetherness. He expressed gratitude for Ridhi Dogra's partnership, praising her dedication and enthusiasm to bring about positive change.
'Feeding From Far' remains the longest-running Covid-19 initiative dedicated to addressing hunger-related challenges in India. Since 2020, it has provided over 34 lakh meals to individuals and families across Mumbai, focusing on vulnerable communities in settlements like Govandi, Dharavi, Appa Malad, and other pockets in Malad, empowering societies to sustain themselves and escape the clutches of hunger.
Meanwhile, Ridhi is currently being praised for her performance in the Salman Khan's movie 'Tiger 3'.
