ABCD 2 - It  is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language dance film directed and choreographed by Remo D'Souz. The film was the sequel to its original part released back in 2013, ABCD (Anybody Can Dance). Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, it was led by Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva. Meanwhile, the film encircles around a dance competition where a group of Indian dancers pour their blood, sweat, and tears for the win. 

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania - Led by Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a 2014 romantic comedy-drama written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. It was the first installment of the Dulhania film franchise which became a box office success and had a worldwide gross of ₹119 crore.

Badlapur - It is a 2015 Hindi-language neo-noir action thriller film helmed by Sriram Raghavan. Based on the novel, Death's Dark Abyss by Italian writer Massimo Carlotto. the film starred Nawazuddin Siddique opposite to Varun Dhawan. The film presented Varun's versatility as a rogue drama star, who avenges the death of his son and wife, by two murderers. 

Dilwale - Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film starred a stellar casts ensemble alongside Varun Dhawan which included Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Mukesh Tiwari, and Boman Irani. It is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic action comedy film and Varun's role was exceptionally adored. 

Judwa 2 - Directed by father David Dhawan, it is the year's one of the biggest blockbuster comedy films released in 2017. It is an Indian Hindi-language action comedy which is a modern remake of the 1997 iconic film led by Salman Khan. Made with a budget of Rs. 65 crores, it has earned 227.59 crore worldwide. 

Sui Dhaaga - Directed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language drama film led by Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan. Shot all around the country, it revolves around a married couple in small-town India who begin their own small-scale clothing business. 

October - It is a 2018 romantic drama. One of the star's most underrated film to be precise. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu in the characters of Dan and Shiuli respectively. It is truly a gem of an emotional drama that is highly rated on IMDB, i.e. 7.7/10, even though failed at the Box Office. 

Kalank - Kalank is a 2019 romantic drama that was led by a stellar star cast like Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Varun Dhawan himself. Directed by Abhishek Verman, even with such a powerful cast, the film failed terribly both at the box office and in theatres.
