Veteran actor Rajinikanth predicts India's win in the CWC finals; Says 'World Cup is Ours'

Wednesday evening was a whopping celebration for all the Indians as Indian Cricket Team has beaten New Zealand in the World Cup semi-finals. The most awaited semi-final match took place yesterday between the accolading teams on the prestigious Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai. The win of the most anticipated match was the nation's success more than the blue team alone. The whole country celebrated the historical moment along with the biggest names of the country. Many renown dignitaries from Indian entertainment biz attended the oozing match. Veteran actor Rajinikanth was among the long list of attendees too!

Rajinikanth expresses his surity of India's win in the upcoming finals!

The iconic actor has paved his way to Mumbai to witness the unmissable match of CWC semi finals, fought between India and New Zealand. Gracing the Wankhede Stadium, he was accompanied by his wife, producer Latha. Upon returning to his home in Chennai, the icon was seen getting entangled with the media and opening about his match experience in Mumbai. During the exchanging conversation, he also predicted Indian win in the upcoming finals and referred his intuition as 100% sure! Speaking to outlet PTI, he quoted, "At first, I felt nervous. Later, when wickets kept falling, it went well. During that one and a half hours, I was quite nervous. But I am 100 percent sure the (world) cup is ours," as per a post by PTI made it crispier on Friday morning. 

Recently, Rajinikanth along with the other iconic faces such as Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar was given with the Golden Ticket by the BCCI (The Board of Control of Cricket in India), allowing them with the access of all the 48 matches of the World Cup 2023.

Speaking off the other Bollywood celebrities who graced the memorable match on Tuesday night included Anushka Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Kunal Khemu, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra. Bollywood acing actress Madhuri Dixit has added the sports glamor along with her husband Dr. Sriram Nene and posed with poise alongside actor Rajinikanth. The football maestro, David Beckham was also in the match who is on a three-day visit in Mumbai.
