Yes. you heard it correctly! Yami Gautam has finally started off the journey of motherhood as she welcomed her first baby boy with her husband Aditya Dhar, whom they have named Vedavid. Taking over her official Instagram handle on Monday, 20th May 2024, the riveting actress has shared the exciting announcement along with a creative stating the newest joy of the couple's life. As per the revelation, they welcomed their baby boy on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritya, on 10th May 2024. The creative post revealed the name 'Vedavid' which further read, "We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beloved son, Vedavid, who graced us with his birth on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya. Please shower him with all your kind blessings and love", written in the backdrop of Lord Shri Krishna holding a baby on his hands.
Below in the caption, the couple's collaborative post also expressed their thankfulness to the body of hospital professionals who have made their journey smooth and successful. Weaving their feelings in words, they wrote, "We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptionally dedicated and wonderful medical professionals at Surya Hospital, especially Dr. Bhupender Awasthi and Dr. Ranjana Dhanu, whose expertise and tireless efforts made this joyous occasion possible." Further down the caption, they shared their gratitude for being able to witness this fresh journey of experiencing newness. "As we embark on this beautiful journey of parenthood, we eagerly anticipate the bright future that awaits our son. With every milestone he achieves, we are filled with the hope and belief that he will grow to become a beacon of pride for our entire family as well as our beloved nation," it proceeded.

Led by Yami Gautam, the film is set in the backdrop of the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, commonly known as abrogation of "Article 370".
