Finally! Diljit Dosanjh, Nimrat Khaira's awaited-film 'Jodi' gets release date

Diljit Dosanjh news: Punjabi artists Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira are yet again in the news for one of the most awaited films 'Jodi'. The film has been delayed numerous times for unforeseen reasons but finally, the makers have announced the new release date of the film.

The movie also marks the first collaboration of Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira together on the silver screens. Earlier it was slated to be released by the end of 2022 but as confirmed by the makers, it will be released in 2023.

Nimrat Khaira took to her Instagram account and revealed that the film's release date is finally fixed and it will be released in theaters on May 5, 2023.

The actress also shared a poster that featured a cassette and the roll makes a heart. The intriguing poster has surely made everyone curious to know more about the film's details.

'Jodi' movie is written and directed by Amberdeep Singh while it is being bankrolled by Amarinder and Karaj Gill. The film is said to be a period drama that is combined with family and love drama.

Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has numerous projects in his kitty. He recently shared his glimpse from the upcoming biopic of Amar Singh Chamkila which is being directed by Imitiaz Ali.
