Ricky Kej meets PM Modi after his Grammy win: Ricky Kej, an Indian music composer who recently won a Grammy, released side-by-side photos of himself with Prime Minister Narendra Modi from seven years ago on Thursday, which have gone viral all over social media.
Ricky Kej, an Indian music composer who was congratulated on his second Grammy win by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday, inquired about the PM's anti-aging "secret."
The Prime Minister praised him for his musical zeal. Following their encounter, the Bengaluru-based artist shared a collage of old and new photos of himself with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wrote a short remark to go with the collage.
On April 4, Kej received his second Grammy for his album Divine Tides, which won Best New Age Album. In 2015, he received his first Grammy Award for Best New Age Album for his album Winds of Samsara.
Ricky Kej had a thoughtful observation, which he shared on Twitter. “7 year challenge!! Pic 1: 2015 when I won my 1st Grammy. Pic 2: 2022 when I won 2nd Grammy. Hon'ble PM @narendramodi ji looks EXACTLY the same.. but I have aged a lot :-) hahahaha. What is your secret sir?? @PMOIndia”
The Prime Minister met the Bengaluru-based singer directly on Thursday, and in a tweet, he said, "Happy to have met you @rickykej! Your passion and enthusiasm towards music keeps getting even stronger. Best wishes for your future endeavours."
His last Grammy win was for the album 'Winds of Samsara,' which he released in 2015. He is claimed to have become interested in music at an early age after witnessing his pals play the guitar. Kej had formal training in both western classical and Indian classical music while in college.
