The film speaks about the 1983 cricket world cup win of India under the captainship of Kapil Dev which is directed by Kabir Khan.

Talking about their career in cricket Hardy Sandhu said, "I played for Shikhar Dhawan's U-19 cricket squad for around ten years. I played alongside Cheteshwar Pujara and Ishant Sharma, and he was my roommate. However, in 2006, I had an elbow injury. My damage was to my right arm, and I was a quick bowler. During that time, the IPL had begun, and all those who were junior to me had been picked (they were selected). I was miserable. I could have easily played in the Indian Premier League."

When Hardy came back to India in 2009, he took training and also did get back to play for the Ranji Trophy. The plans for him were decided by destiny and he got injured just three days before the match. During all the face down the actor faced depressive time but then later he decided to give singing a trial which went on to become a successful career for him.

Talking about his singing experience he said "I started learning music again in 2010, and I continued learning till 2011." In 2012, I finally finished my debut album. I often regret not being able to play for India since my coaches believed I was capable of doing so. I had the ability, but it was all fate."

His breakthrough song was ‘Soch’ which was released in 2013 and now he is breaking the records with the recently released track ‘Bijlee Bijlee’.
