BAFTA 2024: Deepika Padukone Makes Everyone Proud As Presenter
At the 77th BAFTA Film Awards 2024 in London, Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood actress, presented the award for the Best Film not in the English language to actor Jonathan Glazer for 'The Zone Of Interest.' The event took place at the Royal Festival Hall. Other nominated films were '20 Days in Mariupol,' 'Anatomy of a Fall,' 'Past Lives,' and 'Society of the Snow.'

Deepika looked stunning at the BAFTA Awards red carpet in a golden and silver shimmery saree with sequin work, paired with a matching blouse featuring strappy sleeves. Her makeup included dewy skin and kohl-rimmed eyes, complemented by a messy hair bun and statement earrings.
Expressing gratitude on Instagram for being chosen as a BAFTA Award presenter, Deepika shared a post captioned "Gratitude." The list of presenters also included David Beckham, Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh from 'Bridgerton,' Hugh Grant from 'Wonka,' and Lily Collins from 'Emily in Paris.'
The BAFTA Awards are streaming live on Lionsgate Play in India. On the film front, Deepika recently starred in the aerial action thriller 'Fighter' alongside Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, received positive responses from the audience.
Her upcoming project is the sci-fi action thriller film 'Kalki 2898 AD' with south actor Prabhas, directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie, also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, is set to hit theaters on May 9, 2024.
