After months of eager anticipation bating among the masses, the makers of 'Joker 2: Folie a Deux' has finally released it's official teaser trailer, which will bring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga together on a screen. The upcoming movie will follow up Todd Philip's 2019 psychological crime thriller 'Joker' which will rope of Joaquin Phoenix in reprising his iconic character The Joker along with Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. Both the character promises an enthralling take-over in the city of Gotham crocheting more chaos and unfathomable
crime.
Joker: Folie a Deux Teaser Trailer
On Wednesday morning, the makers of the Joker has teased off the global fanatics by releasing it's official teaser trailer that looked dark, thrilling and an absolute mastertpiece. On April 10, 2024, The Joker has taken over their offical Instagram handle to share the thrilling teaser with a caption that wrote, "He’s not alone anymore. Joker: Folie Deux – only in theaters and @IMAX, October 4. #JokerMovie #FilmedForIMAX." As per the released teaser, the movie will follow up Arthur getting off from the prison, when he meets Harley for the first time. As they befriends each other, both harnessess their twisted brain for amassing chaos within the Gotham city. In one of the scene, Lady Gaga aka Harley could be seen revealing Arthur has achieved so much in life as compared to her. It is then when the duo embraces their crazy side bringing dooming darkness to the city.
Fans Reaction
As soon as the teaser trailer went on the socials, people have taken over the comments section to pour their love for the 'yet-to-be' released movie. One user wrote, "Movie of the year for sure" while an another already quoted 'smells like Oscar'. While a third user embarked on both of the characters saying, "Omg these is going to be the movie of the year Harley Quinn and joker yesss". Some of the other users on the other hand expressed their enthusiasm for the movie, where one wrote, "I’ve been waiting 4 years and two months for this moment"
Meanwhile, the movie is all set to release globally on October 4, 2024.
