Michael Jackson Biopic 'Michael' Set to Hit Theaters in 2025

The highly-anticipated biopic, 'Michael,' is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 18, 2025, as per the reports. Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film stars Jaafar Jackson, the late King of Pop's nephew, in his first major role.

Michael Jackson faced accusations of child sexual assault, but he vehemently denied them and was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2003. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 50.Antoine Fuqua, known for directing films like the 'Equalizer' series, is at the helm of 'Michael.' His recent work includes 'Equalizer 3' with Denzel Washington and the 2022 release of 'Emancipation,' a thriller starring Will Smith.

Interestingly, 'Michael' has taken the release date previously assigned to 'The Exorcist: Deceiver.' However, the latter has been put on hold indefinitely following the departure of director David Gordon Green. Universal and Blumhouse are currently searching for a new director for the "Exorcist" sequel.
