J.P Dutta's directorial 'Border' was inspired by true events that took place during the 'Battle of Longewala in 1971'. The India-Pakistan war film featured Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Puneet Issar, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in pivotal roles. Besides, J.P Dutta had bagged the National Award for Best Direction in 1998.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra's 'Shershaah' had given major goosebumps to the audience. The film is based on the life of Kargil's hero Captain Vikram Batra. The soldier laid down his life in the service of the nation as he recaptured the Indian territories from Pakistani intruders during the Kargil War in 1999.
