KGF Chapter 2 box office collection: Blockbuster hit 'KGF: Chapter 2' appears to be adding more consumers to its ever-growing list in its fourth week, when most movies, including those with major stars, are losing their sway at theatres. Despite competition from fresh releases, the picture, which stars Yash in the lead role, continues to draw large crowds to theatres across the country.
KGF: Chapter 2 is the only Indian film that is still making money (Hindi). Despite Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently the best film in town, KGF: Chapter 2 has been steadily collecting for the past four weeks.
Whereas Kannada and other dubbed south languages have done well, Hindi is the one that is bringing in the most money.
This was proven at the box office on Monday, when the film grossed 2.50 crores*. The previous day's collections were 3.85 crores, therefore these are good figures.
On its first day, KGF 2, which was released in theatres around the world on April 14, grossed a total of 134.50 crore. The movie is a follow-up to the Kannada smash KGF: Chapter 1. The protagonist of the two-part film series is Rocky (Yash), an orphan who rises from poverty to become the ruler of a gold mine. Sanjay plays Adheera, the antagonist in this period action drama.
Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj feature in Prashanth Neel's film, which he wrote and directed.
