Panjabi MC vs Guru Randhawa: Who’s Version Of ‘Morni Banke’ Is Better?

‘Morni Banke’ song from Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra’s upcoming film ‘Badhaai Ho’ has sparked a debate among Punjabi music fans with many claiming that the old version was a better one.

'Morni Banke’ from ‘Badhaai Ho’ is a re-created version of Panjabi MC’s hit 2010 song. The new version is sung by Guru Randhawa and Neha Kakkar. The new version is created by Tanishk Bagchi.

Panjabi MC’s version was a superhit. For ‘Morni’, Punjabi MC also won the Punjabi Music Award for best sound recording.

Soon after the latest version was released on YouTube, many Punjabi music fans started commenting that the Punjabi MC's version is way better as compared with 'Badhaai Ho' song. However, Guru's fans are saying that the latest version is awesome.

The latest version of ‘Morni Banke’ is picturised on the occasion of an engagement ceremony between the lead actors of the film Ayushmann and Sanya.

The lead actors are dancing their heart out and they have done full justice to the essence of its music.

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Vineer Jain, The film, ‘Badhai Ho’ is all set to hit the silver screens on October 19, 2018 on the occasion of Dussehra.
